What does Royalty Free music mean?
What Royalty Free means, is that you get all rights needed to synchronize the music in your video and that the music provider will not charge you for each use, or for each copy or volume sold etc.

However, not all royalty-free music includes "public performance rights", meaning that you might still need to pay royalties to so called performance rights organizations (“PROs”) when making your videos available to the public. To be clear, it might not be you that would be on the hook for such fees, it could also be a distributor down the line, but even so it’s good to keep in mind that having a license to the public performance rights can be important for your end customer.
Audiohook is more than royalty-free. We own all rights to our music and all of our tracks are represented by one Publisher/PRO. That's how we can provide you with a direct license covering all economic rights, including public performance rights in each and every country in which those rights can be licensed directly.
Please note: Our licenses and subscriptions do not include releasing and distributing our music as stand-alone tracks. To monetize your YouTube videos, make sure you have an active subscription and that you’ve added your YouTube channel on the day you publish your videos in order to stay clear from claims.
How Do I credit Audiohook Artists?
Credit our artists by including the following information:
Artist's Name / Title of Music Pieces / courtesy of www.audiohook.io

  3. Paste the link in your video description or where you would like to share it
What happens after I cancel my subscription?
All videos, podcast episodes and/or any other types of content that have been published during an active subscription will stay cleared from receiving copyright claims in perpetuity.
However, if you use Audiohook music in videos published after you've ended your subscription, Audiohook will monetize them. You can reactivate your subscription at any time to continue using our music claim free.
Please note: You will no longer be charged after cancellation, however any charges up until cancellation are non-refundable as you have had access to listen and download music from our catalogue and have had the ability to use music on videos published on channels connected to your subscription.
What are copyright claims and how can I stay claim free on YouTube?
What is a Content ID claim?
A Content ID claim is a copyright notification applied by a rights holder in order to protect their copyrighted content on YouTube. It is up to each individual rights holder to decide which policy they want to apply to matched content.
If you upload a video to YouTube with Audiohook music without a valid license to do so or that does not conform with the license terms, you may receive a monetization claim. Bear in mind that a claim is not a copyright strike. We will never take down, mute or block your YouTube video for using our music unlicensed as long as you let Audiohook monetize or otherwise comply with Audiohook’s instructions. The only thing that will happen is that ads may appear since Audiohook will monetize your video.
How can I make sure my video is cleared from claims on YouTube?
In order for us to recognize your content as licensed on YouTube it is important that you link your channel/video to your license.
The way our licensing model works is that the party uploading a video to YouTube needs to be cleared in our system to avoid claims. All videos published during your subscription will be cleared from claims in perpetuity. However, if you publish videos with our music after your subscription has ended, you run the risk of receiving claims. In other words, it's all about when you publish the video rather than when you download the track.
If you have a Personal or Commercial subscription with us, you can add your channel straight into your subscription in your account. However, if you purchased a license for a single track, you will need to upload the video to YouTube before you can report the link to us. The link can then be added into your license in your Audiohook account.
If you have a Production Company/Entity license with us and are unsure of how to clear your videos from claims, please reach out to your Account Manager or the Licensing Manager you’ve been in contact with for more information.
Can I use Audiohook music for free?
